As part of my music industries course, that I'm studying at BCU, we were given the option to construct a record label or put on an event. I hope to enter the music industry and be linked closely to the record label sector so me and my group went ahead and made our own record label.

RXYLTY (pronounced 'royalty') Records is an independent label that prides it's aesthetic on high quality. Through the music itself, the production and the experience we and our artists want to deliver to listeners. We are Birmingham based and are very new. We specialise in genres consisting of rap/hip-hop, grime and r'n'b.

We have a YouTube page where we release the music videos or just audios from our artists and also a souncloud where we would either post our artists music or, if uploaded independently to their own soundcloud, share it. We have a variety of social medias where you can contact us.

Monumental Hip-Hop

I can't stress how much of a keen listener and huge fan I am of music. I really engage with most genres literally from rap to rock to dubstep to jazz, I'm very open to the wide possibilities and creations that comes with music. In particular I am a big fan of rap/hip-hop. I have my own blog where I like to post anything that interests me within the genre or anything that's on my mind to do with it. It's intriguing and entertaining for me to read up about music or discover peoples thoughts and opinions, I hope this gives someone else that same feeling. I enjoy being creative and creative writing and I use this blog as an almost 'no holds barred' method of me letting out all my thoughts, frustrations and excitement surrounding the hip-hop and rap genre,
